FMHA Website a Major Value to Dealers and Brokers

FMHA’s mission is to protect and promote the interests of Florida’s manufactured housing industry.  During the Great Recession of the late 2000’s and early 2010’s FMHA was forced to downsize its operation and focus its limited resources on core activities, mainly ensuring that no adverse legislation or regulations were enacted.  During that time FMHA had a limited budgeted and did not have the wherewithal to properly fund an effective industry marketing campaign.

With the resurgence of the industry, FMHA has been able to fully fund its marketing and public relations efforts.  Over the past several years the Marketing & PR Committee has directed the rebuilding of the FMHA consumer website, www.fmha.org, and has retained a well-respected marketing and communications firm to develop and implement strategies to generate awareness for the manufactured housing industry, attract new visitors to the FMHA website to  educate consumer and connect potential homebuyers with members, and to support sales efforts by generating brochure requests, form fills, and outbound traffic to member websites. 

The results to date have been impressive. In August 2018, FMHA’s integrated marketing efforts achieved the following results:

  • 199,315 social media impressions with 1,121 followers and a 5,410 average daily reach
  • Facebook advertising reached 14,132 with 358 link clicks
  • 73,874 viewed videos on FMHA Facebook pages.  The total reach was 81,232
  • 279,331 Google Ad Words Impression resulting in 1,618 link clicks
  • Google Ad Words from YouTube Pre-Roll resulted in 19,600 impressions, 18,037 views with a 92% view rate
  • 12,705 web session with an average of 6.62 pages viewed per session.  These sessions resulted in 53 requests for consumer brochures and 108 new email sign ups to the industry prospect nurturing drip campaign.

What do these numbers mean for you?  FMHA is reaching, educating and connecting to more potential home buyers and manufactured home community residents than ever before.  FMHA members are directly benefiting by having consumers reach out to them directly through their websites, by telephone and visiting their businesses.  FMHA members also have a leg up on the competitive MHVillage listing marketplace by having their home listings identified with an FMHA member logo.  Membership in FMHA increases a member’s credibility, providing yet another reason why a consumer should buy a home or live in an FMHA-member community.
